El Rincon del Coqui

If you’re looking for 100% authentic Puerto Rican food then El Rincon del Coqui has you covered! Family owned and operated this food truck is taking South Florida by storm! The menu is full of “antojitos” such as the Tripleta & churrasco sandwich, Alcapurria de Yuca, Pastelillos de Camarones and of course the Bori burger.

The Bori burger consists of a half Pound burger with onions, bacon, shoe string potatoes, swiss cheese and special house sauce. Note to self, make sure to ask for extra house sauce. The patty was cooked to a perfect medium and the flavor jumps at you right after the first bite. The perfect amount of spice and the house sauce were the key here people. Sauce on a burger is not essential but in this case its a welcome compliment.

I wasn’t surprised at all by the cordial welcoming that I received. Puerto Ricans are known for their warm hospitality and genuine greetings. Without a doubt, service with a smile is what your receive at El Rincon del Coqui.

Do you wish to fill your stomach with the aroma and spice that gives Puerto Rican cuisine its distinctive taste and color? Here you will find a wide variety of Puerto Rican dishes that will guarantee your family and friends mouth will be watering for days. Puerto Ricans have blessed us with two main gifts, incredible salsa and delicious island food. El Rincon del Coqui has you covered with one!

  1. The review here by is unreal. This food truck has over priced bad food. They make Puerto Rico food look and taste bad. By the way there from Cuba. The only reason it was perfect for the guy was he was being paid to said this. Don't take my word for it. Google Puerto Rico food in Miami and Pines and you'll find better food for less money. As for El Rincon del Coqui nice try.

  2. Funny, I still haven’t received any money for this review smh I will agree with you that it’s a bit overpriced but the food is very good. This truck parked up in Lowes at Kendall & in a matter of 30 minutes the line was 20 people deep. You want to talk about overpriced and bad food try Latin Burger truck! This Bori burger was one of the best burgers I’ve had thus far. Thanks for your comment.

  6. P.R. man, they can't serve the things you ate while you spent most of your life in El Yunque. We eat civilized food. Just enjoy what is out there and stop being so bitter. This is a blog for people to read and enjoy the comments.

  7. Let me know when the huge check clears!...lol...I am the owner of El Rincon del Coqui and if you need my birth certificate to prove my nationality, let me know! My wife is Cuban, yes.

Now, as far as your comments go, everyone is entitled to have their own opinion, we live in America and free spech is a right. However, if are going to critisize make intelligent remarks, dont bash without facts in hand.

As far as it being overpriced, shop around. Most food trucks have menus ranging from $6-9 NOT including a drink. We include the drink that everyone charges $2 for. We use only the best ingredients in our food. Unfortunately we cannot make everyone happy. If I cut costs down by using inferior products YOU will critisize it as well, so...

Funny how you always have negative comments about our food everytime good things are said about it. If you dislike our food stop following us all the time and get on with your life! Or have you nothing else to do?

I thank everyone that comes out all the time to eat our horrible food!...lol

And as a closing stament let me just quote the Burger Beast "One of the best burgers in town"....go figure, a guy that has probably tasted hundreds of burgers has that to say about it!

    Good luck and good vibes!

  8. To the owner of El Rincon del Coqui. Don't let the comments get to you so harsh. If your are going to use intelligent remarks towards others learn to spell. It will make you seem more professional. It does not seem like you care about being professional. I do not see anything funny about this. So why do you keep adding lol to every line. What are you a teenager. If you dislike our comments stop following us all the time and get on with your life. Burger Beast tells everyone there food is great. So he will keep everyone happy. I have had your food at Tropical Park. It not the best. It did taste good. But I have the right to my opinion. I should know thou. I been Chef for 30 years at Darden Restaurants. One of Fortune 100 best companies to work for 2011. So As for your prices who cares it's your Rincon.
