Miami's Top 5 Burgers

5) Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink

If there’s a restaurant that meets and exceeds my expectations every time I visit its Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink. Opening its doors in the spring of 2007 in the Miami Design District, Chef Michael Schwartz uses only the best local and organic foods. Whether you’re visiting or live in South Florida his restaurant is a must-visit! The Harris Ranch Black Angus Burger comes in at number five! Black Angus house ground with Vermont white cheddar cheese, crispy smoked bacon on a brioche bun. Indulge yourself in this burger! You’ll be sure to recognize the freshness and technique that goes into every dish, especially this one.

“We believe the people deserve better.” That’s exactly what you get every time you walk into Pincho Factory. With two location serving Miami, on 98th and Bird Road and the newly opened Coral Gables location at 32 Giralda Ave, you have no excuse not to try it! Over 30 Pincho Burgers have gone down my gullet. Not sure if I should be broadcasting that, but yea it’s that damn good! Fresh chuck, brisket, and short rib patties, with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, melty cheese, potato sticks, and their homemade pink sauce topped on freshly baked bread. And if you’re feeling hungry don’t hesitate to make it a double!

The Original DB Burger, served at db Bistro Moderne restaurant in Brickell is the essence of high-end burgers. By far it’s the most decadent burger I’ve ever eaten. At $34, it’s also the most expensive burger I’ve eaten. Is it worth every penny? I say yes! And that’s why it comes in at number three. From the moment they bring it to your table, you’re in awe. A sirloin burger filled with braised short rib, foie gras, black truffle, and served on a parmesan bun. db Bistro is first class all the way, this bistro blazes with its sleek, contemporary décor, exceptional service, and menu choices.

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, ROK:BRGR is the best burger joint in South Florida! Don’t believe me go try it yourself. With locations in Fort Lauderdale and South Miami no other restaurant has better burger options on their menu. This magnificent specimen you see above is the King James Burger. It comes with creamy brie, kurobuta pork belly, red onion marmalade, truffle aioli, on a freshly baked bread. Cooked to a perfect medium-rare and served with their delicious sweet potato fries. Visit them on Monday’s for BRGR:Bash. Every burger on the menu is only $10 and craft beers only $4!

I found Miami’s number one burger! I give you The Swine Burger. And you can get one at Swine Southern Table & Bar in Coral Gables. When I think of Swine, one word comes to mind, delicious. The Swine burger comes with short rib, brisket and smoked pork blend, homemade dill pickles, a thick slab of house cut bacon, lettuce, tomato, double American cheese, and Swine’s special sauce. The best way to describe it- burger porn! It’s tender and juicy and melts in your mouth. It’ll have you wanting a second and a third!

St. Baldrick's Get Bald at Mickey's

Join us this Sept 21st at 4pm at Mickey Byrne's Irish Pub for St. Baldrick's Get Bald at Mickey's event. Whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, or donate, we hope you'll be a part of this great cause. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

They'll be live music, face painters, clowns, a magician and lots of other surprises. Also plenty of restaurant prizes will be raffled off. From Mojo Donuts, Crackers, Latin House Grill, Bluecollar, Josh’s Deli, Eating House, Toscana Divino, Route 9 Miami, Chef Adriannes, Ms Cheezious, and BC Café.

Last year this event raised over $48,000 dollars for pediatric cancer research. With your help we can beat that! So bring the family and invite your friends!
